Bonjour my Beauties, today's post is a little different, no collaboration involved just wanted to share with you little bit of my Indian culture. As you probably know by now, my parents were born and raised in India until they decided to immigrate to France early 80's. My brothers and I were born in France but definitely grew up in a Indian culture where we were exposed to Hinduism and different other celebrations.
Today is Diwali, "the festival of lights" which is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated every year. Diwali is one of the largest and brightest festivals in India. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of good over evil. Tomorrow is the Hindu New Year and according to the calendar 2072 will begin :)
It is a huge celebration thought the world, lots of sugary sweets involved, dancing, fireworks, candles....I had the opportunity to attend it one year in India and let me tell you it's absolutely gorgeous, the way they decorate the house etc, so beautiful.
