To our continued journey…

Bonjour ladies, today's article is not about fashion but rather something very personal. As you know, I am extremely private about my life but this is a story I want to share with you all.

As you know I have been married to my husband for over 14 years. This was the reason I moved to USA in the first place. My life has since been like a beautiful mosaic filled with pure love, laughter, and ups and downs like any marriage. Most importantly my marriage was one where we as young individuals grew together, learned so much from each other, and supported each other no matter what!

With that said, we have mutually decided to separate. It was not an easy decision of course as we value the meaning of marriage but we did what was best for us as individual souls. It took courage, thought, self-discovery, openness, and empathy. We were both very young when we got married and as time passed by we realized we were growing apart. And we both feel that our growth and progress as individual souls can be sped up by living independently again.

The reason why I decided to share this with you is simple - I want to share that not all separations are negative, or have a hero and a villain. Sometimes it is about what is best for us as individuals in our exciting journey of life.

A separation can be beautiful and inspiring. And that’s what we feel about our situation. We are very happy about our decision and are looking forward to what the future has to offer. We are looking forward to continue growth. We remain a great friend to each other. The eco-systems we have become a part of as a married couple will remain, and at the same time, new ones will be formed in the coming years. How beautiful our journey…

The years we spent together are so valuable and if I had to this again, I would not change a thing! He was the partner I needed for that phase of my life. We are now ready to see the destinations our individual journeys have to offer and we are so thrilled!

This is of course OUR story and ONLY ours....

"Progress: to be ready, at every minute, to give up all one is and all one has in order to advance..."

"Life is movement, life is effort; it is marching forward, climbing towards future revelations and realisations"

"Forward always forward in love and joy and a peace rising ever higher."
