Bonjour ladies, so today I am sharing about a misunderstanding that often people have which is being chic means spending a lot of money for luxury goods. I have seen comments on social media saying "Of course you'll look chic if you have a Chanel purse" and I have to say I disagree.
I created this look for you that really makes me feel chic and I did not use any luxury products. The trick to look chic is:
-Making sure you wear products that may be affordable but always well tailored and great quality. Items that compliment your body type and shape (just gonna be honest here, I think deep down inside ourselves we know what looks good on us and what doesn't when we try something on, just follow that first intuition I would say)
-Accessorize your outfit with item that looks expensive like the bag, belt and earrings I am wearing but that is actually affordable. Don't over do it. (a little note about my bag, honestly I am so positively surprised at how affordable and amazing quality Camelia Roma's bags are, love, love, love, highly recommend it)
-Don't go overboard with the make up. Honestly the more I get older the more I am focusing on having a healthier skin and have minimal make up rather than having a cake on my face unless I feel like it but not as an obligation I guess.
-Make sure your hair are proper, hair and make up are really important. I love wearing them sleek with the middle part, partially because I am lazy lol but also because I love the elegant look is gives.
-And the most important part is in the attitude. Wear your clothes with attitude, it's all about how you walk and move with elegance and confidence. Don't dress to make an impression which is something I have seen often in USA but find yourself and project it throughout your clothes. Don't be afraid of others judgement, everyone has different style and opinions Most importantly don't forget to smile.
Voila, hope this helps a little. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at alpa.rama@gmail.com
